Speaker and Schedule

Gary Yagel

Gary is Executive Director of Forging Bonds of Brotherhood.

He presents a challenging and powerful three-part message this weekend to get men refocused on God’s Mission for life. Based upon his years of experience, Gary has spent his career serving the needs of men.

He is on the speaking faculty of Man in the Mirror as a presenter of the “No Man Left Behind” series, directs the men’s division of Family Builders, Inc. and is the author of the popular booklet, Forging Bonds of Brotherhood.

What to Bring

Portable chair (important), flip flops/sandals, hiking shoes and sneakers, sweatshirts, shorts, sunscreen, insect repellent, sunglasses, Bible, pen, journal, ear plugs, recreational clothing, good book, flashlight, extra towel, soap, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste. Linens, pillows and blankets will be provided.

Activities

NorthBay Adventure is an awesome property located on the Chesapeake Bay, with spectacular views.

Dodge Ball, Basketball, Ropes Course, Indoor/Outdoor Climbing Walls, Mountain Biking, Fishing, Kayaking, Canoeing, Pool Shooting, Zip-lines, Ping Pong, Giant Swing, 18 Hole Frisbee Golf, Foosball, Air Hockey, Volley Ball and Rocking Chair Snoozing!

If you want to fish or mountain bike while at NorthBay, please bring your own fishing pole and bicycle.

Carpooling

For those who want to carpool, please meet at Grace Community Church in the east parking lot no later than 3:45 pm on Friday, April 20th.

FROM BALTIMORE / WASHINGTON

Take I-95 North (from Baltimore heading towards Philadelphia) across the Susquehanna Bridge.

Take- exit # 100, MD-272- (sign will say "North East / Rising Sun".)

Keep RIGHT (south toward North East) at the fork in the ramp.

Merge onto MD-272 south, go 10.5 miles. (You will first pass through the Town of North East, and then pass Sandy Hill Camp (on your left after 9.0 miles).(After Sandy Hill, you will see a sign on the left indicating you have entered Elk Neck State Park.)

When you see the NorthBay sign, turn RIGHT off MD-272 into the NorthBay property (Horseshoe Point Lane).

Proceed on driveway (less than a mile) and down the big hill, until you arrive at the lower parking lot on your left...park there, and then walk to Blackbeard’s Dining Hall which is located next to the administration building (Bowers Center) on the circle at the end of the road.
